Hey There! Thanks for popping on over to my new blog. I wanted to have a site where I could post different projects and/or crafts that I am working on or have completed. And also a place to put up photographs that I have taken. Hopefully, you will have as much fun looking at my STUFF as I have had creating it. And don't ever forget to... EnJOy the jOURney!

Some fun cards I have made lately

Birthday card for Dixie Schiffman

Birthday card for summer lady here who buys like 15 cases of berries, 1-2 cases at a time and makes jam for all her family. Last year her husband died, then this year when she got here, she found out she had breast cancer and had one removed, and then treatments all summer in Logan. She would have who ever was staying with her come get the berries on her "good" days. Very, very sweet lady.

Just a card for a gal who needed a card... :0)

Check out my cute little perpetual calendar thingy-ma-bopper! Think I will remember to change it daily?

Just monkeyin' around...

Got this crazy idea last fall to make sock monkeys for all my little neices and nephews for Christmas. Great idea until I got adding up and discovered I had 30 of them under the age of 16... But decided that I really wanted to do it. True confession - there are still a couple of them here that I have not finished, but vow to get them done soon. I randomly bought crazy socks and went to work. To personalize them, I put the receipiants initials on the right foot and then (don't laugh) put a heart on their bum (under the tail) with the initial "T" in it. Trust me, no two are the same. Hopefully, the kids will keep them around a while and remember me when they look at them. Love you guys!

The Hat Lady...

That's right - you got it... I can now make loomy hats! At church we have a humanitarian table and you are supposed to take kits home and make them and I just can't get in to sewing stuff for them. So now they put these looms out and I said, "Hey, if my sister, my neices, and their kids can make these, then I can to!!!" The first one (blue) was pretty lame - that one will go in a bottom drawer some where, but each one gets a little better. Especially now that I know to use 2 or 3 strands of yarn at a time! This week, I am steppin' it up to the next size - wish me luck! P.S. Lar - thanks for being my support system... I couldn't have done it without you! :o)
